The onus of unplanned pregnancy is horribly unbalanced. In all the discussions I hear about pregnancy,abortion, reproductive health, I don’t hear much about the men involved. Men are involved in 100% of unplanned, unwanted pregnancies.

If a women is put in a situation where she has to decide to find an abortion provider, the man that got her pregnant should be held accountable. The men are responsible too. If a woman can be charged with murder for a miscarriage, what about the man involved?  If a woman can be charged with a crime for seeking to end a pregnancy , the man should be held to account as well.

I suggest maximum 5 years in prison and or a fine , up to $500,000 dollars.

Where are the penalties for men? Women are burdened with 100% of the responsibilities . NOT FAIR.

The congress and senate should start a dialogue about their lack of accountability immediately.

This is a first step in bringing to light an issue that has not been adequately debated.
