As the City is aware we were maliciously shut down on Friday night due to having no water. 
The owner of the building, Todd Johnson has been ruthless with his attempts to get After6 to simply vacate a legal valid five year lease of which there is still 2 years and 4 months left on said lease. 
After failed negotiations for about two weeks, Todd Johnson felt the need to turn up the stakes and result to tactics that hurt our business and tried to erase our community foot print. 

Todd Johnson proceeded to contact Citizens Gas at 7:20 pm and requested an emergency shut off of the entire bldg water lines. 
The Citizens Gas worker immediately stated “Let me go turn the water back on as it’s illegal to cut off water to commercial tenants aside of nonpayment”. 

We still didn’t realize the depth of what was going on until the Marion County Health Dept and Fire Marshall and IMPD all walked in and stated, “ We received a call from the bldg owner Todd Johnson that you’re operating without water”. We were not open, as we were actually trying to wrap our heads around what was truly going on. 

Both the Marion County Health Dept and Fire Marshall began a thorough inspection of the entire club as protocol. At which time they found not one violation. 

So After6 is kindly asking for community support to help save the business and jobs by helping get our water turned back on! Todd Johnson illegally turned it off for malicious reasons to bully us, cause financial harm to the club, and scare us into leaving thus trying to deprive us of our right to fight back with legal action before the court system.
