Currently drafting a business plan for a company to apply for European Sustainability Certifications that will allow them to tap a niche sustainable clothing premium-market in Europe. Analyzing company main suppliers and processes to determine if they meet environmental and social standards. Identifying gaps and set up corrective actions to meet standards. I felt inspired by the French brand Marcia that strives towards zero- waste by avoiding overproduction and recycles fabrics to avoid excess materials. This inspired me to come up with a project in the textile manufacturing/ and fashion sector, in which, I would help a Peruvian brand expand their market to a younger international audience, that values sustainable sourced clothing and integrity in their public image. At a higher level I am hoping to achieve change in the industry regarding the way societal beauty standards are represented, as well as having a positive impact in workers and suppliers.
