 As a freshman moving into Grand Canyon University, I have loved the environment. There are so many nice and social people. But with all of this, I’ve noticed a big hole in the community. Yes, there is always something fun to do, but it seems as if the school coordinates all of it. I, along many of the students here, would really love the opportunity for the investment in greek life on campus. This will enlarge student planned events on a mass scale. This would not only bring so many more students on campus, but also enrich and popularize this community to a whole new level. Allowing such a platform to be in this place can unite our community  exponentially. Students involved in greek life are also huge advocates for community service. So far, living on this campus, I know many people who would love a way to give back in a manner that greek life could provide. GCU counter argues that we don’t invest in greek life because it could potentially divide the student life here, but we know it would be just the opposite. By providing an additional opportunity for students to get involved only helps GCU’s image. This will encourage more potential students to consider this amazing university.
