Restore gun rights to felons who are nonviolent/non-sex offenders.. everyone has the right to defend their family&their selfs.. except felons.say you made a mistake when you was young an was convicted of a felony.an you’ve paid your debt to Society. Done your prison time.or whatever punishment you were given. An years later you have a wife an kids an 3 armed people are braking into ur home… how are u going to protect your wife an children? You can’t because of a mistake you made you can’t possess a firearm.so you are defenseless.. many people will say to get ur family outta the house! Or call the police ok try to get ur family out but can’t with out  putting ur family in Direct danger an it takes the the police 5to10 minutes  to get there a lot can happen in that time.. non-violence felons non sex offenders. Should not have their second Constitutional right stripped from them they have paid for there crime..
