The Town of Warwick is trying to ban ALL Roosters in Residential Lots. That means homeowners not only cannot own a rooster, but will have to kill the pets they currently have, or any future baby roosters they buy from our local stores that do not sex male/female chicks. Not only is this a homeowner rights issue, it is an animal rights issue. Also, who is to say once this ban goes through that they will not try to ban our hens? The Village of Warwick has a ban on all chickens.
It is our American right to own Roosters and Hens. We live in the country.
