Brain Tumor Core, we are requesting a hybrid model for working - effective immediately. A hybrid model in which employees are on site 2-3 days a week would increase productivity, while improving workplace satisfaction. This model was followed during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was very successful to completing patient-related objectives. 

Moving forward, the team would formulate a comprehensive plan to reduce any potential loss of productivity when it came to operations. Specifically, the tissue bank would operate on a rotating schedule across all coordinators. If there are many tissue bank patients, then more than two staff member would be on site. In regards to the research assistants and co-ops, they would be on site on specific days to help with patient visits, while working remotely regarding data and regulatory files. 

During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the team was able to communicate easily and effectively to everyone in order to complete all projects. Therefore, similar to many other groups at the University of Pennsylvania, continuing to offer employees at the BTC a hybrid model would ensure operations are continuing smoothly. 

Moreover, because the entire team would be trained across all trials comprehensively, there would be much better patient hand offs and coverage across trials.
