Aldi is by far the best grocery store, and there are several reasons why Glynn County should get one. It would help make nutritious food more accessible to everyone, and it would encourage citizens to cut down on their single-use plastic consumption. It would also bring new jobs to the county. See below for more reasons if you’re not already convinced: 

• Great Prices: Their prices are unbelievably low for how high of quality their items are. Their generic brand items are of similar or of better quality to name brand items. 
• Focused on Sustainability: Aldi is ranked #1 for being the most sustainable grocery store chain in the country. They have set targets to divert 90% of its operational waste by 2025 and halve its total food waste by 2030. They also have plans to remove Styrofoam from all produce packaging and transition all exclusive packaging — including plastic — to reusable, recyclable or compostable material by 2025. They also do not provide plastic bags and ask customers to bring their own vessels to transport groceries. 
• Culture: I have never been to an Aldi where people have been unkind. The employees are so efficient and helpful, and even the customers are willing to offer you a quarter if need be. 

Please consider signing this petition. I am shocked by the prices of groceries in this county, and I miss the reliability, efficiency, and joy of Aldi! I hope we can bring this joy to our county!
