The mission of the National Park Service is to protect and conserve the natural and cultural resources, and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education and inspiration of this and future generations. This same mission applies to the National Park on St. John and is forever linked to this and future generations of St. Johnians.
Virgin Islanders agree that St. Johnians need a public high school. The land for such a school lies in the National Park and this land should be freely given now without any further discussions of swapping National Park land for Virgin Islands government land. A public school on National Park land with a dedicated mission to teaching and conserving Virgin Islands history and culture and appreciation for our environment is something all Virgin Islanders can rally around.
Please sign our petition asking the National Park to donate 10 acres of the more than 7,500 acres forming the National Park System on St. John for the construction of a public high school.
If you want us to advertise this petition on Google and Facebook to those people who may be interested, please donate.
